Twas the week before Christmas
in Gig Harbor town And the people were bustling with nary a frown They
were filling the Target, the Costco, Home depot The shops by the water were swarming
with people And the stores up in uptown with tinsel and glitter You
can follow their patrons on Facebook or Twitter But they all need a rest from their
parking and shopping And Forza’s the place where the folks will be stopping With
courteous service and coffees galore This may seem like your average café-type store But
you’ll know just the minute you walk through the door That this place
is all that and a whole truckload more They have all the best servers not to mention the food And
the customers all in a very bright mood We talk to them all and the guests, they all tell us The
selection of wine would make anyone jealous And once in a while, in the fading
of light When the day is near finished and the mood is just right And
the food and wine start to make everything bright There is music that pierces the cold
Harbor night And what, you may ask, is that wonderful noise That
is stirring such merriment, causing such joys And giving us respite from presents
and toys It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s just the Shy Boys You’ll
find them at Forza, they play on occasion When dancing is needed or spirits
need raisin The sharing and caring with family and friends Has
you thinking of others as the evening ends So please share your blessings, lend
someone a hand Let’s pray for those people who must take a stand And
who risk life and limb to protect this great land Merry Christmas from all of us here
in the Band
